The founding partners retired; James Wall in December 1996 and Patrick Donnelly in April 2002.
Brendan McCann died suddenly on 9th December 2007 and is sadly missed by the remaining partners and staff.
Donnelly and Wall now have four partners and each has their own areas of expertise.

 
Brendan Taylor LL.B

Senior Partner, Brendan Taylor LL.B., joined the firm in 1978 and became a Partner in 1982
Brendan Taylor LL.B., specialises in Litigation and his Department deals with a wide variety of claims arising out of road traffic accidents, accidents in the home and at work and a wide variety of other matters.
His assistant, Gerald Kelly LL.B., has also wide experience in Litigation and additionally specialises in Employment Law and Immigration Law. He represents employees at Tribunals in disputes with employers.

 
Denis Moloney LL.B

Senior Partner, Denis Moloney LL.B., joined the firm in 1978 and became a Partner in 1982
Denis Moloney LL.B., Solicitor Advocate and Notary Public, not only specialises in Criminal Law but also in Conveyancing, Probate and Administration of Estates. Mr Moloney qualified in the Inaugural Year of the Law Society's N.I.T.A. (USA) Advocacy Course and not only has the Solicitor Advocate qualification in Northern Ireland but also the Higher Rights qualifications for England and Wales and Eire. He uses these Advocacy skills on a daily basis throughout all Courts in Belfast.
Mr Moloney in conjunction with his Personal Assistant Cathy McMenamy offers a personal professional service to each client from the beginning through to the end of all Domestic and Commercial Conveyancing and in all Probate matters. His department has greatly expanded over the years.

 
Andrew Kinney LL.B

Andrew Kinney LL.B., joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 2002. He is the firm's in-house advocate, specialising in the representation of clients in the Magistrate's Court outside of Belfast and has expertise in a wide variety of criminal matters. Mr Kinney is assisted by Una Conway LLB and Margaret Kinney LLB.

 
Ailis McKeown LL.B

Ailis McKeown LL.B, joined the firm in 1993 and became a Partner in 2002. She deals exclusively with Family Law and her Department has increased significantly within the last ten years. Mrs McKeown is a member of the Children Order Panel and represents the interests of the children in the Family Proceedings Court, Family Care Centre and High Court. The Matrimonial Department also has expertise in Separations, Divorces, Full and Final Matrimonial Agreements, Ancillary Relief applications as well as applications under the Family Homes & Domestic Violence (Northern Ireland) Order 1998. She is ably assisted by Miss Gemma McKeown LL.M.
